According to Gimpo City on July 29, a special cultural event for the summer vacation, "Aegibong Retro Playground Event: Into the Memories!", was held at Aegibong Peace Ecological Park on July 26. The event was designed to promote family communication through intergenerational play experiences, and many visitors attended as family groups.
The most popular attraction, the "Squid Game Playground," featured iconic characters such as the Pink Soldier, the Ddakji Man (invitation deliverer), and Participant 456, enhancing the immersive atmosphere. Visitors became game participants themselves and had to successfully complete a relay of four traditional games (Ddakji-chigi, Jegi-chagi, Gongginori, and Biseok-chigi) within 100 seconds. Those who completed the mission received a stamp, which led to high participation and excitement at the event.
In addition to the Squid Game Playground, various experience zones within the park?such as Hidden Picture Search, Fan Making, and a social network service (SNS) photo wall?offered a stamp-collecting mission program. Upon completion, participants could draw lots for nostalgic prizes and snacks, which proved highly attractive to visitors.
