Emgen Solution Signs 2.87 Billion KRW Information and Communication Construction Contract with LH
Emgen Solution, a company specializing in smart communication infrastructure and artificial intelligence (AI) disaster safety solutions, announced on the 29th that it has signed a contract worth a total of 2,879 million KRW with Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) for the “Seoul Area Aged Public Housing Remodeling Information and Communication Construction” project.
This contract is part of a remodeling project to modernize the information and communication facilities of aged public rental housing in the Seoul area. Construction is scheduled to begin on August 4, with completion expected on June 1 next year.
Through this project, Emgen Solution plans to establish a stable communication infrastructure and will continue to focus its capabilities on improving outdated communication infrastructure for local governments, public institutions, and private companies in the future.
Currently, the aging of public rental housing built since the 1990s in the Seoul area is accelerating, making systematic and efficient maintenance urgently necessary. The “Special Act on Public Housing” only regulates construction and acquisition, and does not address the maintenance of aged public rental housing. In response, recently, lawmaker Han Jeongae (Seoul Gangseo-gu-byeong) proposed a special bill to support the maintenance of aged public rental housing. This bill aims to address the shortcomings of the current “Special Act on Public Housing” and to establish a legal basis for systematic and effective maintenance.
Emgen Solution plans to actively participate in bids from public institutions, including LH, and to strengthen its position in the public information and communication remodeling market by expanding its business nationwide.
A representative from Emgen Solution stated, “Improving the communication infrastructure of aged public housing is not just about building infrastructure; it is a key factor in enhancing citizens’ quality of life. Through this project, we will prioritize quality and safety to ensure the successful completion of the project.”
