KleanNara Signs MOU with Indonesia's APP Group to Target Global Packaging Market
Transition to a Full-Fledged Strategic Partnership System
KleanNara announced on July 29 that it has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Asia Pulp & Paper Group (APP Group), a global paper company under Indonesia's Sinar Mas Group.

View original imageThe agreement was signed the previous day in Shanghai, China, with KleanNara CEO Choi Hyunsu, APP Group Global Business Division CEO Wang, and other key officials from both companies in attendance. The partnership marks an expansion from the import and sales relationship that began in 2013 to a full-fledged strategic partnership aimed at enhancing sustainability and global competitiveness.
Under this agreement, APP Group will be responsible for producing products for KleanNara's new premium eco-friendly brand. KleanNara plans to accelerate its entry into the global market by establishing a domestic distribution system based on ODM, expanding global exports, and growing its packaging business in the food and beverage, cosmetics, and premium consumer goods industries. In addition, KleanNara will introduce a diverse range of eco-friendly products centered on the new premium eco-friendly brand, including high-end packaging materials and pulp packaging for outer boxes. The company also aims to expand the application of this brand to various industries such as food and beverage, cosmetics, and premium consumer goods both domestically and internationally.
Prior to this MOU, KleanNara and APP Group held a kickoff meeting on July 8 at KleanNara's headquarters in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, to discuss mutual cooperation for global market expansion.
