Youth Sherpas and Employees Engage in Recovery Activities
Plan to Deliver Over 1,600 Relief Items Including T-shirts and Pants
The Black Yak Kang Tae Sun Nanum Foundation, a social welfare foundation of BYN Black Yak Group, announced on the 28th that it had carried out volunteer activities to support flood recovery in Hongseong County, Chungnam, which suffered massive damage due to record-breaking heavy rains.
On the 25th, about 20 people, including Black Yak Youth Sherpas and BYN Black Yak Group employees, participated in recovery activities in Naedeok-ri, Hongbuk-eup, Hongseong County, Chungnam, to help restore areas affected by the flood.

View original imageThis region suffered severe damage from the recent heavy rains, including the flooding of farmland and greenhouses and the inflow of earth and sand. Volunteers contributed to the recovery by sorting and transporting waste, cleaning up flooded items and the area, and assisting with the maintenance of residences for displaced people.
To support the victims of the flood and the ongoing volunteer activities, approximately 1,600 relief items, including Black Yak T-shirts, pants, and innerwear, will be distributed to Yesan County Office and Gapyeong County Office. In addition, further volunteer activities for flood recovery are planned to take place in Gapyeong County.
