Busan Veterans Office Holds Mobile Training on Veteran Support at Naval Operations Command
Introduction to Employment and Entrepreneurship Support Programs
Emphasis on Registration Procedures for Mid- and Long-Term Service Members
The Busan Regional Veterans Affairs Office's Veterans Support Center (Director Namil Lee) conducted a mobile training session on July 25 at the Naval Operations Command, targeting active-duty personnel and officers scheduled for discharge.
This training provided an overview of the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs’ support system for discharged soldiers, the role of the Veterans Support Center, and various programs supporting employment and entrepreneurship. In particular, the session informed participants that military personnel who have served for over five years are eligible to register as mid- and long-term service veterans with the Ministry and join the center as members immediately upon discharge.
