Gijang-gun, Busan to Provide Agricultural Public Benefit Allowance... 600,000 Won Annual Support
Gijang-gun (Governor Jung Jongbok) will implement the '2025 Agricultural Public Benefit Allowance Support Project' to maintain the public benefit functions of agriculture and stabilize farm household incomes.
The eligible recipients are farm households that have their address in Gijang-gun as of January 1, 2025, and are actually engaged in farming. This includes farmers who realize the public benefit functions of agriculture, such as maintaining the shape and function of farmland, complying with pesticide and fertilizer usage standards, and managing agricultural waste, and who receive the 'Basic Public Benefit Direct Payment'.
The amount provided is 600,000 won per household per year. If there are two or more members of the same household according to the resident registration, only one person will receive the payment. Applications should be submitted based on the location of the farmland that is subject to the Basic Public Benefit Direct Payment. If the farmland is located outside Gijang-gun, submission of the Basic Public Benefit Direct Payment registration certificate is required.
The application period is from July 21 to August 20, and applications can be made at the administrative welfare centers in each eup or myeon corresponding to the applicant’s address. Afterward, on-site inspections will be conducted to verify actual farming, and payments are scheduled to be made between November and December.
