Korea Rural Community Corporation Jeonbuk Supports Recovery Efforts for Flood-Damaged Farms
Participation of Around 100 Employees from Five Departments
The Jeonbuk Regional Headquarters of the Korea Rural Community Corporation mobilized around 100 employees from five departments on July 24 to assist with recovery efforts at a strawberry farm that suffered significant damage due to heavy rainfall.
The affected farm, located in Sinpyeong-ri, Songdong-myeon, Namwon-si, consists of a strawberry vinyl greenhouse covering approximately 1,200 pyeong. During the monsoon season, torrential rains caused the topsoil to be washed away and severely damaged the cultivation infrastructure.
