On July 23, Lotte signed a three-party agreement with Busan City and Nongshim, leading to the release of a special product utilizing Busan's representative content. The product features a limited-edition package of the popular snack 'Nongshim Jagalchi,' inspired by Busan's landmark Jagalchi Market, and incorporates Busan's official character 'Boogie' along with local dialect phrases.
A promotional event will also be held to celebrate the product launch. The event includes four items: Jagalchi x Boogie (141g), Saewookkang (180g), Saewookkang Black (105g), and Alsaewoochip (110g), all offered at a flat price of 2,000 won each. Customers who purchase two or more items will receive an additional 10% discount. In addition, those who buy two or more packs of Jagalchi will receive one limited-edition Boogie collaboration sticker on a first-come, first-served basis.
Offline events highlighting the unique characteristics of the Busan region have also been prepared. Major stores in each area, such as the Gwangbok branch and Junggye branch, will feature 'Boogie Fishery' displays with a Jagalchi Market concept to recreate the local atmosphere. Starting from July 27, the Boogie character will visit stores in sequence to take photos with customers and distribute collaboration merchandise.
Next month, a 'Jagalchi x Boogie' sculpture will be installed near Nampo Station in Busan, where Jagalchi Market is located, creating a photo spot for both Busan residents and tourists. From August 1 to August 4, a promotional booth will operate at the 'Busan Sea Festival' held at Dadaepo Beach, hosting a variety of events.
