Busan Office of Education to Run "Healthy Growth Camp with Experts and AI"
Customized Exercise Prescriptions and Posture Correction for Elementary Students
Enhancing Self-Directed Health Management Skills Expected
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seokjun) will operate the "Healthy Growth Camp with Experts and AI" for 60 elementary school students in grades 4 to 6 and their parents at the Student Health Promotion Center in Banyeo-dong, Haeundae-gu, from July 25 to August 23.
This camp is a program designed to address issues such as poor posture and obesity caused by excessive smartphone use and lack of exercise. It features customized blended healthcare education that combines expert diagnosis with artificial intelligence technology.
Participants will receive detailed physical measurements and AI-based exercise prescriptions during the first on-site camp, which will be held from July 25 to 26. Afterward, they will participate in an online camp at home from July 28 to August 21. Their health improvements and posture correction effects will be assessed during the second on-site camp, which will take place from August 22 to 23.
In particular, a special lecture for parents will also be held to provide proper growth guidance for students, thereby establishing a foundation for family-centered health management.
