On-site Communication and Empathy Training
for All Employees by Region
Changwon Special City in South Gyeongsang Province conducted the 'Visiting Mind Talk Talk Education' program for 120 of its employees at the Citizen Hall.
The training, held on July 22, was organized in response to the growing importance of social sensitivity within the public sector. It aimed to foster a communicative organizational culture through mental health management. The program was outsourced to a professional institution and operated as a demand-driven, visiting education tailored to each region of Changwon, Masan, and Jinhae.
The three-hour training covered the following main topics: causes of conflict and understanding emotions between different ranks, diagnosing communication styles and developing customized strategies, and routines for emotional recovery.
The program provided education on communication and empathy skills to help participants effectively respond to conflicts within the organization and maintain emotionally healthy relationships. Additionally, stress management techniques were addressed to help employees build resilience.
In particular, the training received a positive response for its detailed introduction of communication methods that can foster understanding between the MZ generation and older generations, as well as improve work efficiency.
Jung Sookyi, Director of the Autonomous Administration Bureau, stated, "While work is important, it is also essential for both individuals and the organization to grow together in good mental health. I hope this training serves as an opportunity for employees to recharge and brings renewed vitality to the organization."
Meanwhile, the training is scheduled to be held for employees in Uichang-gu and Seongsan-gu on July 23, in Jinhae-gu on July 25, and in Masanhappo-gu and Masanhoewon-gu on July 28.
