Jeonju City in North Jeolla Province is openly recruiting volunteers to participate in the '8th Jeonju Book Festival' through the 1365 Volunteer Portal until August 17.
According to the city on July 21, the Jeonju Book Festival is a representative autumn book festival featuring a variety of reading experience events every year. This year, the festival will be held for three days from September 5 to 7 at Jeonju Hanbyeok Culture Center and Wanpanbon Culture Center, under the theme 'The Moment You Turn the Page,' offering a festival full of sights and activities.
The recruitment target is a total of 150 people. Selected volunteers will help organize and operate the Jeonju Book Festival by taking on roles such as the book market, exhibitions, hands-on activities, and environmental maintenance. The volunteer activity time is eight hours per day.
The city plans to announce the selection results individually via text message on August 18, and will provide preliminary training on the overall event for the final group of selected volunteers.
