Korea Exchange Launches "2025 KRX Securities Derivatives Academic Research Support Program"
The Korea Exchange is launching the "2025 KRX Securities Derivatives Academic Research Support Program" to sponsor fundamental research on securities and derivatives and to support the development of Korea's capital market.
Since 2015, the Korea Exchange has selected a total of 109 research papers, supporting creative and practical research projects (papers) related to the development of the securities and derivatives markets.
Among these, papers with outstanding research results are separately awarded the Excellent Paper Award. This program has also achieved results in discovering emerging researchers and promoting research in various fields related to the capital market.
For this year's academic research support program, up to 11 projects will be selected. If the requirements are met, such as publication in major academic journals, research funding of up to 10 million KRW per paper will be provided.

Additionally, for the submitted papers, a total of 23 million KRW in prize money and plaques will be awarded, including a Grand Prize (one paper) of 7 million KRW, Excellence Prizes (two papers) of 5 million KRW each, and Encouragement Prizes (two papers) of 3 million KRW each.
