Gyeonggi Province to Provide Up to 500 Million Won per Person for Future Agricultural Business Leaders
Gyeonggi Province has secured 77.9 billion won in funding for the second half of this year to support future agricultural business leaders, providing a foundation for 185 young farmers and future agricultural managers to settle into farming.
The support fund for fostering future agricultural business leaders is a policy fund designed to assist young farmers and future agricultural managers who face significant burdens in the early stages of farming. The maximum loan amount is 500 million won, with an annual interest rate of 1.5%, a five-year grace period, and a 20-year repayment term.
With this round of funding, Gyeonggi Province plans to go beyond simple loan support and fully implement a comprehensive development policy that encompasses settlement support, technical education, and market linkage. This includes initiatives such as the Gyeonggi Startup Preparation Farm, operation of agricultural master programs, and advanced agricultural management courses.
