Vehicle Access Resumes on Jamsu Bridge in Seoul as Restrictions Lifted
Vehicle traffic on Jamsu Bridge in Seoul, which had been restricted on the morning of July 20 due to heavy rainfall in the central region, resumed in the afternoon.
According to the Seoul Metropolitan Government, vehicle access to Jamsu Bridge was restricted from 10:40 a.m. on this day due to rising water levels caused by the discharge from Paldang Dam upstream on the Han River. The restriction was lifted at around 2:30 p.m. after the water level of the Han River receded.
Previously, vehicle access to Jamsu Bridge had been restricted when more than 7,000 tons of water per second were released from Paldang Dam into the Han River due to heavy rainfall in the central region.
