Samsung Electronics Service has dispatched a "Special Flood Recovery Service Team" to support recovery efforts in the areas of Yesan County and Asan City in Chungcheongnam-do, which were affected by heavy rainfall.
According to an announcement on the 20th, since the 18th, the "Special Flood Recovery Service Team" has set up mobile service centers at the Hapori 1-ri Community Center in Sapgyo-eup, Yesan County, and the Agricultural Products Processing Center in Yeomchi-eup, Asan City, where they are providing cleaning and free inspection services for household appliances that were submerged in the flood.
At the flood recovery sites, a bus equipped with mobile phone inspection equipment has also been dispatched to support cleaning, drying, and malfunction inspections of water-damaged mobile phones.
In areas such as Yonggang-dong in Buk-gu and Mareuk-dong in Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, where flood damage was concentrated in certain neighborhoods, service engineers are visiting affected households directly to inspect home appliances and support flood recovery efforts.
