SRT Resumes Normal Operations on All Routes from 9 a.m.; KORAIL Also Restarts All Train Services
SR, the operator of the Suseo High-Speed Railway (SRT), announced on July 20 that all trains across the country have been operating normally since 9:00 a.m.
Service on the Honam Line between Gwangju Songjeong and Mokpo, the Jeolla Line between Iksan and Yeosu Expo, and the Gyeongjeon Line between Dongdaegu and Jinju, which had been suspended since July 17 due to heavy rainfall in the central and southern regions, has resumed after safety inspections of the facilities.
However, SR stated that some trains may experience delays as they are operating at reduced speeds to ensure safety.
Meanwhile, Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) also resumed operations on all lines, including the Gyeongbu Line and Honam Line, starting at 9:00 a.m. on the same day.
