Local Organizations and Volunteers Unite for Seniors' Health
On July 18, just ahead of Chobok, Daegu Dalseo-gu Senior Welfare Center successfully hosted the 'Bokdakbokdak Samgyetang Sharing Day' event for about 1,000 local seniors.

For this sharing event, Daegu Community Chest of Korea, iM Bank Social Contribution Foundation, iM Bank Wolseong Branch (Dalseo Sarang Volunteer Group), Singsing Chicken, Gwanmun Hospital, and the Cheongchun Cafe within the welfare center all participated as sponsors.
In addition, about 40 volunteers from the Durumi Volunteer Group took part in the event, helping with the serving of Samgyetang and event operations, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
One senior who attended the event said, "Every year on Chobok, the Dalseo-gu Senior Welfare Center serves Samgyetang filled with care to us seniors free of charge, which is truly heartwarming. I am already looking forward to next year's Chobok."
Kim Jinhong, Director of Daegu Dalseo-gu Senior Welfare Center, said, "It is very meaningful to be able to give local seniors a healthy summer. I deeply thank the sponsoring organizations and volunteers who joined forces with us."
The Dalseo-gu Senior Welfare Center plans to continue offering a variety of welfare programs and emotional support activities for local seniors in the future.
