The city of Siheung in Gyeonggi Province announced that it is operating a KakaoTalk open chat room called 'Siheung Shared Bicycle & Electric Kickboard Illegal Parking Report Room' to address pedestrian inconvenience caused by the unauthorized parking of personal mobility devices (PM) such as shared bicycles and electric kickboards, and to create a pleasant urban environment.
This chat room is a real-time communication channel established to quickly resolve issues caused by indiscriminate parking of PMs throughout the city and to enable any citizen to easily report inconveniences.
Citizens can access the report room by searching for 'Siheung Shared Bicycle & Electric Kickboard Illegal Parking Report Room' on KakaoTalk or by scanning the QR code attached to city promotional materials. The operating hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays.

Reports can be made for shared bicycles and electric kickboards that are parked without authorization in locations that threaten pedestrian safety, such as on tactile paving blocks, crosswalks, and the center of sidewalks.
