The Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pilho) announced on July 17 that it had provided emergency relief supplies to Dangjin, Chungnam, which was affected by heavy rainfall in the Chungcheong region.

The supplies delivered this time included 200 relief kits for disaster victims, 50 partitions for shelters, and bottled water. Hope Bridge is currently operating an emergency response system and is fully prepared to respond promptly to requests from other local governments and organizations in the future.

To prepare for recurring flood damage during the summer, Hope Bridge has been pre-assembling relief kits and consistently building cooperative systems with local communities and related organizations. In particular, the organization has recently launched campaigns to prepare for heavy rain, and is actively sharing practical information such as "Guidelines for Action During Heavy Rain" through social networking services (SNS) to help citizens respond safely in the event of a disaster.

Shin Hoon, Secretary General of Hope Bridge, stated, "I sincerely hope that there will be no further damage from the heavy rainfall," and added, "Hope Bridge is responding swiftly and thoroughly, fulfilling its responsibilities, and will continue to do its utmost for the safety and recovery of citizens."

Using its disaster relief logistics centers located in Paju, Gyeonggi, and Hamyang, Gyeongnam as bases, Hope Bridge has established a system that enables the rapid dispatch and delivery of relief supplies anywhere in the country whenever a disaster occurs.
