Shinhan Card Offers Academy Fee Cashback Event... Up to 20,000 Won

Cashback Available Upon Registration and Target Achievement by August 31

Shinhan Card announced on the 17th that it is holding a cashback event for parents during the summer vacation season, offering cashback on academy and study material expenses.

Customers who register for the event and achieve their target spending amount by August 31 will receive up to 20,000 won in cashback.

Eligible transactions include in-person card payments, payments made through mobile services, and academy or study material payments made via electronic payment gateway (PG) companies.

For mobile services, only payments where the actual academy name appears in the transaction details?such as through Gyeolje Seonsaeng or AllTalkPay?or payments made via Shinhan Campus are recognized.

For payments via PG companies, only companies that allow academy fees to be paid online, such as Megastudy Education, are eligible.

The target spending amount is calculated by adding one of the additional spending options selected by the customer (500,000, 1,000,000, or 2,000,000 won) to the amount spent on academy and study material categories with a credit card over the past two months.

For example, if a customer spent 1,400,000 won over the past two months and selects an additional spending amount of 500,000 won, the target amount becomes 1,900,000 won. Depending on the additional spending tier, the cashback ranges from 5,000 to 20,000 won.

Shinhan Card is also running an additional academy fee event for Shinhan SOL Pay customers. By accessing Shinhan SOL Pay, activating the relevant My Shop coupon, and making a payment of 300,000 won or more with the educational card product 'Shinhan Card Edu Plan+', customers will receive a Starbucks coffee coupon.
