Inviting 150 Domestic and Overseas Buyers
Focused Promotion of K-Strategic Items such as Beauty Products
The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 17th that, together with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, it is recruiting small and medium-sized enterprises to participate in the '2025 Korea Global Sourcing Week'.
Launched in 2022, Sourcing Week has provided opportunities for domestic and international buyer consultations to support overseas expansion and domestic market growth, as well as assisted in the promotion and marketing of SME products. This year, the event will be held over two days, September 4 and 5, at KINTEX in Ilsan, and will invite buyers from 150 companies, including 100 overseas and 50 domestic firms, to offer SMEs opportunities to expand their sales channels both in Korea and abroad.
The main programs include: one-on-one online and offline export consultations with overseas buyers; one-on-one purchase consultations with buyers from major domestic distribution channels such as department stores and duty-free shops; an exhibition hall for outstanding SME products; and a promotional hall for SME export support policies. Additional events such as awards for contributors to SME sales and marketing, and marketing seminars, will also be held simultaneously.
Starting this year, the exhibition hall for outstanding SME products will feature experiential showrooms for K-strategic items in the beauty, fashion, food, and lifestyle sectors, incorporating high-tech technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR). A new exhibition hall for eco-friendly certified products will also be established.
Applications for participation can be submitted through the Sourcing Week website.
