Renault Group Appoints Duncan Minto as Interim CEO... To Oversee Management Until New CEO is Selected
On July 15 (local time), the Renault Group Board of Directors announced the appointment of Duncan Minto as the interim CEO of Renault S.A. His term will begin immediately and continue until a new CEO is officially appointed.
Duncan Minto, who is currently the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Renault Group, will oversee the group's routine management operations during this period together with Jean-Dominique Senard, Chairman of the Board.
Minto, who is from Scotland, joined Renault Group in 1997 and has accumulated experience in finance by working in various sectors, including in several European countries, the Asia-Pacific region, and across the group's subsidiary brands. Within the group, he is regarded as someone who has a deep understanding of the current management challenges facing Renault.
The process of selecting the new CEO of Renault S.A. is proceeding smoothly under the supervision of the Governance and Remuneration Committee, which operates under the Board of Directors.
