Shinhan Investment Corp. Completes Korea Securities Depository Token Securities Testbed Verification Project
Shinhan Investment Corp. announced on the 16th that it participated in the token securities (STO) testbed platform project organized by the Korea Securities Depository, and successfully completed verification of key functions from both technical and operational perspectives.
This testbed was promoted over an eight-month period starting in October last year, with the aim of preemptively checking market infrastructure ahead of the introduction of the token securities system. It was designed to collect and verify transaction information recorded on a blockchain distributed ledger, and to implement the total volume management function of the electronic registration institution in the test environment, thereby empirically verifying whether the issued and circulating volumes match.
The 'PULSE' distributed ledger infrastructure included Shinhan Investment Corp., SK Securities, and LS Securities as node participants. In addition, the technology company Blockchain Global supported the infrastructure construction and operational stability.
