View original imageThe company determined the disclosure indicators in accordance with the evaluation guidelines of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), and included content that reflects social, environmental, and financial impacts.
Hankook Tire has also significantly strengthened its disclosures related to biodiversity, in line with global disclosure standards, including the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD).
In particular, the company identified eight key management issues related to climate change and resource circulation, and provided detailed explanations of their management status and future challenges. These issues include: climate change mitigation, energy efficiency management, hazardous and chemical substance management, resource circulation management, employee health and safety, respect for employee human rights, supply chain ESG risk management, and research and development as well as technological innovation. The report includes the main actions taken and achievements for each issue.
