According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, as the region will be on the edge of a high-pressure system located over the northern East Sea, the morning low will range from 20 to 24 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high is expected to reach between 32 and 35 degrees Celsius.
Waves in the seas off the west and south coasts are expected to be relatively calm at around 1 meter, and the concentration of ultrafine dust will remain at a 'good' level.
An official from the Korea Meteorological Administration said, "As the risk of heat-related illnesses is high, please stay hydrated frequently and refrain from prolonged farm work or working alone."
