Dong-Eui University RISE Project Group Partners with Korea Invention Promotion Association to Boost Startup Ecosystem
Dong-Eui University (President Han Suhwan) RISE Project Group is joining forces with the Korea Invention Promotion Association to foster practical entrepreneurship talent and vitalize the regional startup ecosystem.
The Rise Project Group of Dong-Eui University (Director Lee Imgeon) signed a business agreement with the Korea Invention Promotion Association (Director of the Education and Research Division Kim Unseon) on July 8 in the Global Conference Room of the university’s main building.

View original imageThe signing ceremony was attended by Director Lee Imgeon, Deputy Director of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation Park Youngdo, Director Kim Unseon, Director Yang Jinsu, and other officials from both organizations.
This agreement is centered on comprehensive cooperation, including the operation of programs to strengthen practical entrepreneurship capabilities, invention and patent-based education, discovery and nurturing of promising technology startup items, technology commercialization for startups, and the establishment of startup networks.
Director Lee Imgeon emphasized, "Through this collaboration, we will provide practical opportunities to local entrepreneurs and further enhance Busan's startup capabilities," and added, "By creating a sustainable startup ecosystem, we aim to establish a virtuous cycle of youth settlement and industrial development in the region."
Director Kim Unseon also stated, "A startup ecosystem that discovers creative ideas and realizes them can be achieved through close cooperation with local universities," and continued, "We will actively cooperate to promote technology commercialization and enhance startup competitiveness."
The Rise Project Group of Dong-Eui University is an organization implementing the Ministry of Education’s 'Local Government-University Cooperation-Based Regional Innovation Project (RISE)' and is carrying out various projects aimed at fostering region-specific industrial talent and establishing a regional innovation system centered on industry-academic cooperation.
