"From Buying a Nexo to Charging with the Hyundai EV Card"...Easing Cost Burden
Expanded Discounts for Vehicle Purchases and Electric/Hydrogen Charging
On July 9, Hyundai Card announced that it has expanded the benefits of the "Hyundai EV Card," a commercial private label credit card (PLCC) exclusively for Hyundai Motor Company's electric and hydrogen vehicles.
Last month, Hyundai Motor Company launched its new hydrogen electric vehicle, "The All New Nexo (Nexo)," and Hyundai Card has increased the range of useful services available to customers purchasing this model.
The Hyundai EV Card offers a basic benefit of returning 1.5% of the payment amount as Blue Members points and 1.2% as cashback.
In particular, when purchasing a Nexo and making a payment of at least 10 million won with the Hyundai EV Card, additional benefits are provided for members of the "Blue Save-Auto" program. Blue Save-Auto is a program that offers an upfront discount followed by point repayment. It provides an immediate discount of 230,000 won and a cashback of 220,000 won. In addition, 0.5% of the vehicle price can be accumulated as Blue Members points.
Using these methods, when purchasing the Nexo "Exclusive Special" model, which is priced at 79.28 million won, customers can receive a total additional discount of 1.35 million won, including a 500,000 won upfront discount through Blue Save-Auto.
During the Nexo purchase process, if customers utilize the Hyundai EV Card along with government and local government subsidies, their financial burden is further reduced.
The Hyundai EV Card offers industry-leading discounts on fuel charges for electric and hydrogen vehicles. If customers spend at least 500,000 won in the previous month, they receive a 50% discount on charging fees (up to 10,000 won per month), and if they spend at least 800,000 won, they receive a 100% discount (up to 20,000 won per month).
