Samyangsa announced on July 9, 2025, that the cumulative sales of its hangover relief brand Refreshing’s Zero (ZERO) lineup of three products surpassed 12 million units last month.
The zero-calorie hangover relief drink, "Refreshing Booster Zero," recorded cumulative sales of approximately 7.77 million units as of last month. The two stick-shaped zero hangover relief jellies, "Refreshing Stick Zero" (Green Apple flavor and Flat Peach flavor), together exceeded 5 million units sold. By product type, the beverage format accounted for about 60% of total sales.
Refreshing developed its zero hangover relief products in response to the growing health-conscious consumer trend, which has led to the expansion of sugar-free and zero-calorie concepts across various food categories. To date, among hangover relief brands available in convenience stores, Refreshing is the only one to offer both zero-concept hangover relief drinks and hangover relief jellies.
Refreshing plans to continue launching zero-concept hangover relief products to strengthen its dominance in the non-beverage hangover relief market, while also steadily increasing its market share in the beverage hangover relief segment.
