Icheon City Launches 'Mobile Stamp Tour Challenge' Linking Walking Trails and Tourist Attractions
Icheon City in Gyeonggi Province will operate the 'Mobile Stamp Tour Challenge,' which links local walking trails and major tourist attractions using the 'Orda' mobile app, until November 2025.
'Orda' is a mobile stamp tour platform that allows users to complete walking missions and collect verification stamps by connecting Icheon City's walking trails and tourist sites based on GPS. The platform offers features such as location verification, course navigation, course authentication, and information on nearby tourist attractions. During the challenge, tourists who walk the designated challenge courses and collect a certain number of stamps will receive commemorative gifts upon verification.
The city plans to use data collected from the challenge, such as participation rates, popular courses, and feedback, to develop customized tourism courses and create unique local smart tourism content.
Starting with this challenge, the city also plans to introduce various themed mobile stamp tour challenges utilizing diverse tourism resources, including seasonally recommended courses, spot challenges linked to local festivals, branded walking trails, and southern region tourism courses.
