KORAIL Obtains Human Rights Management System (HRMS) Certification
Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) announced on July 4, 2025, that it has received the Human Rights Management System (HRMS) certification from the Korea Small & Medium Business Certification Agency.
The Human Rights Management System certification is awarded by a professional institution after reviewing whether the policies, goals, and implementation requirements established within an organization to systematically manage human rights management are appropriate.
KORAIL was recognized for establishing a human rights-respecting management system based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the National Human Rights Commission of Korea's human rights management guidelines, as well as for implementing human rights management that considers various stakeholders.
In particular, the operation of the AI-powered grievance counseling chatbot 'K-Ansim-e', the introduction of a human rights management index, and the implementation of a 'grievance prevention officer' system for employees under the wage peak system all played a positive role in obtaining the certification.
