18 Locations Offer Free Admission Until August 17
Gaetgol Ecological Park and Baegot Hanul Park Require Paid Entry
Siheung City in Gyeonggi Province announced on July 2 that, as the summer heat intensifies, it will open 20 interactive water playgrounds located in city parks to the public starting from July 12.

View original imageThe water playgrounds will be open for just over a month, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, until August 17. Citizens can use the facilities free of charge, except on closure days (Mondays and rainy days).
The water playgrounds that will be open to the public for free are located at the following 18 sites: Gunseo Park, Jeolmeumgwa Paegi Park, Hani Park, Okgu Park, Mulbit Park, Supsokhyanggi Park, Keunsol Park, Saetmal Park, Neunggok Jungang Park, Sanhyeon Park, Gaon Park, Haero Park, Bidulgi Park, Solsup Park, Sincheon Park, Eungye Forest Ecological Park, Maehwa-dong 205-3, and Wolgot Port Square.
However, the water playgrounds at Gaetgol Ecological Park and Baegot Hanul Park, which have been operating since June 21, will only be open on weekends until July 27. After that, until August 31, they will operate daily except for closure days (every Monday and Friday). These two water playgrounds are paid facilities, and admission is available through on-site, first-come, first-served ticketing each day. The admission fee is 5,600 won for individuals aged 36 months and older, with Siheung City residents eligible for a 50% discount.
