Lotte Mart Launches Second Week of "Big Sale" Event: Pork Belly for Under 1,000 Won, Eel for Just Over 3,000 Won

On July 2, Lotte Mart announced that it will hold the second week of its "Big Sale" event from July 3 to July 9, offering items such as pork belly for under 1,000 won and eel for just over 3,000 won.

View original imageFirst, as a summer health food, "domestic prepared freshwater eel (100g/chilled)" will be sold at 3,745 won, a 50% discount when paying with an event card. The "Big Sushi Set," which consists of 20 pieces of sushi, will also be available at half price for 9,990 won. Seasonal fruits such as "peach and yellow peach (4-6 pieces/pack/domestic)" will be offered at a discounted price of 5,990 won each. "Ultimate Pork (each 100g/chilled/imported pork)," which has undergone a three-stage preparation process to enhance quality, will be available for one day only on July 3 at 952 won, a 60% discount from the regular price.
Lotte Mart has also prepared Big Sale products in large quantities at reasonable prices. "Big Sale Wando Live Abalone (per piece/chilled/domestic)," in special and large sizes, will be sold at 3,500 won and 2,150 won respectively. Compared to existing abalone products, these are selected for greater weight within the same size category. "Big Sale U.S. Cherries (650g/box)" will be available at 9,990 won, with a lower price per 100g than previous products. In addition, from July 3 to July 6, "Big Sale Zespri Gold Kiwi (8-9 pieces/container/New Zealand)" will be sold at 11,990 won.
There are also special weekend-only deals. "Jujube Sweet Tomato (500g/pack/domestic)" will be sold at 3,990 won, a 3,000 won discount from the regular price. More than 90 types of liquid and capsule detergents will be offered at a 50% discount when purchasing two or more. Seven popular frozen snack varieties, including "Goraesa Fish Cake Tteokbokki," and 20 types of vinegar will be available in a buy-one-get-one-free promotion. "Dorco Purewood Frypan (5 types)" will be sold at a 50% discount to L.POINT members. Daily necessities are also available at half price and with various other benefits to help reduce customers' shopping costs.
Previously, during the first week of the event (June 26-30), Lotte Mart's "Big Sale Chicken," sold at 5,000 won, matched prices from 15 years ago and was so popular that all prepared stock sold out in the morning. During this period, Lotte Mart's total sales increased by about 15% compared to the same period last year.
