NCSoft's "Lineage M" Begins Chinese Service... Full-scale Localization After License Approval
NCSoft announced on June 27 that it is accelerating the entry of its flagship mobile MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) "Lineage M" into the Chinese market. After recently obtaining official service approval (ISBN license) from Chinese authorities, the company has begun preparations to target the local market.
On June 24, "Lineage M" received a foreign ISBN license in China under the name "Tiantang: Xuetong (天堂: 血統)." The service will be operated by the local Chinese publisher Shanghai Xiaomingtaiji Network Technology. Xiaomingtaiji previously handled the publishing of "Lineage2M" in China as well.
NCSoft plans to leverage its extensive service experience accumulated in Korea to ensure the successful localization and market entry of "Lineage M" in China. To achieve this, the company will implement a comprehensive approach tailored to Chinese users, covering content planning, operations, and communication strategies.
