Along with the signing ceremony, Happy People delivered items worth a total of 27 million won, including 170 electric fans and 170 detergent sets, based on the results of a one-month fundraising campaign conducted through the donation platform 'Dolgo Donation.' These items will be distributed directly to households of vulnerable Korean War veterans in Busan, and are expected to help them cope with the extreme heat and maintain daily hygiene.
The Busan Regional Veterans Office plans to continue expanding integrated veterans services involving both the public and private sectors through the "Veterans Dream for All" campaign, and to take the lead in realizing "veterans affairs alive in everyday life."
Director Namil Lee stated, "It is everyone's responsibility to remember the sacrifice and dedication of our national heroes," and added, "We will continue to expand public-private cooperation models to address blind spots in veterans welfare."
