On June 25, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power's Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters successfully concluded the "2025 Saeul Academy," a capacity-building program for residents of Seosaeng-myeon and Onyang-eup in Ulju-gun.

View original imageThe "Saeul Academy," which was held for approximately 100 residents of Seosaeng-myeon and Onyang-eup, is a lecture program designed to enhance residents' capabilities so that they can become agents of change in their community. It also aims to foster a correct understanding of nuclear power and a sense of community among local residents.
Saeul Academy began on April 16 with the theme "Choose Positivity and Communicate with Humor." The program featured lectures by experts in various fields, including the importance of nuclear power in the AI era and special lectures on creating resident-led village communities.
At the graduation ceremony held after the 11th and final lecture, certificates of completion were awarded, and residents donned caps and gowns for commemorative photos, providing them with joyful memories.
Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters Chief So Yooseop said, "Thanks to the active participation and passion of local residents, we were able to successfully conclude the Saeul Academy. Going forward, Saeul Headquarters will continue to strive to better empathize and communicate with the local community."
