Chonnam National University Hospital and Pension Service Sign Agreement to Support Medical Expenses for Low-Income Children

View original imageChonnam National University Hospital announced on the 25th that it has signed a business agreement with the Private School Staff Pension Service (hereinafter referred to as the Pension Service) to support medical expenses and promote cultural engagement for children and adolescents from low-income families. On this day, the Pension Service donated 10 million won to Chonnam National University Hospital to support treatment costs for pediatric patients.
The signing ceremony for the business agreement and donation, held on the afternoon of the 24th in the reception room on the 2nd floor of the administration building at Chonnam National University Hospital, was attended by Director of Chonnam National University Hospital Jeong Shin, Deputy Director Yoon Kyungcheol, Director of Planning and Coordination Joo Seongpil, Director of External Cooperation Han Jaeyoung, as well as Song Hajung, Chairman of the Pension Service, and other related officials.
According to the agreement, the two organizations will take the lead in strengthening public interest and fulfilling social responsibility by: ▲ identifying low-income patients and supporting their medical expenses, ▲ supporting the operation of cultural and arts programs for patients, and ▲ cooperating on public interest projects.
Jeong Shin, Director of Chonnam National University Hospital, stated, "Cooperation with the Pension Service goes beyond simple support; it is a meaningful partnership in building a brighter future for children. This donation and agreement will serve as a valuable foundation to help low-income youth nurture healthy dreams," and added, "Chonnam National University Hospital will continue to do its utmost to guarantee the right to health and realize medical equity for children and adolescents in the local community."
Song Hajung, Chairman of the Pension Service, said, "It is meaningful to be able to deliver real hope to children and adolescents in medical blind spots in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions," and emphasized, "We will continue to fulfill our social responsibilities and practice the value of sharing through solidarity with various organizations."
