The three major department stores?Lotte, Shinsegae, and Hyundai?will launch their regular summer sales from June 27 to July 13 to mark the start of the full-fledged summer season.
Lotte Department Store will offer discounts of up to 50% on more than 550 brands at all locations. Fashion brands such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Juun.J, and ZIOZIA will offer up to 50% off on popular summer items like cooling short-sleeve knits and linen shirts. Sports brands including Nike, Adidas, and Vans will also offer summer functional items at discounts of up to 40%. Targeting the vacation season, swimwear brands such as Arena Swimwear, Nike Swim, and Renoma Swimwear, as well as sunglasses brands such as Oakley, Ray-Ban, and Vedi Vero, will introduce new vacation products at discounts of up to 30%. Shoe brands like FitFlop, Keen, and Suecomma Bonnie will sell rain boots and water-friendly sandals, ideal for the rainy season, at discounts of up to 30%.

From July 4 to 13, a promotion will offer the summer's best-selling products at discounts of up to 15%. Exclusive sets of popular items for outdoor activities, such as sunscreens and cooling skincare, will be available. At Lanc?me, Lotte Department Store will offer an exclusive set with the purchase of 'UV Expert 50ml', including Teint Idole Ultra Wear 5ml, UV Expert Tone Up Rosy 10ml, Hydra Zen Soothing Cream 5ml, and R?nergie Lifting Eye Cream 5ml.
Limited-edition summer pop-up stores are also planned. At Lotte World Tower's AvenueL, from July 5 to 13, the first-ever 'La Terrazza Club' pop-up store by Acqua di Parma will be held in Korea, featuring three best-selling EDP perfumes: Mirto di Panarea, Fico di Amalfi, and Arancia di Capri. In addition, a pop-up for Crocs, known as the "national summer sandal," will be held. To celebrate the launch of the Crocs Pokemon Collection, the main branch's basement first floor will offer discounts based on purchase amount and a Jibbitz gift event from July 4 to 13.
During the same period, Shinsegae Department Store will offer 20% to 50% off on new summer arrivals and end-of-season items in fashion, accessories, and sports. Reflecting the recent surge in demand for vacation goods due to the sudden heat, popular swimwear brands such as Arena and Nike Swim will be discounted by up to 10% to 20%. The young fashion brand Brownbreath will offer 10% to 30% off, while Nike Golf and Adidas will hold 10% off events. Skechers and Mizuno brands will offer discounts of 10% to 20%.
Pop-up stores for indoor enjoyment to escape the heat will also be available. Until July 3, Shinsegae Department Store's Gangnam branch will host a pop-up store for the mobile game "Goddess of Victory: Nikke" at the basement first-floor special event hall. Featured items include the "Red Hood LP Player" for 135,000 won, "Red Ash OST Record" for 49,000 won, "Nikke Graphic T-shirt" for 39,000 won, and the "Neon & Anis Beer Glass Set" for 28,000 won. In addition, the Gangnam branch will hold a summer essential umbrella relay pop-up. Hyundai Department Store will hold its summer sale event "The Sale" at its Apgujeong Main Store and other branches nationwide. More than 200 brands in fashion, accessories, and sports will participate, offering new summer items and end-of-season products at discounts of 10% to 50% off the original price. At the Trade Center branch, the "Traditional Casual End-of-Season Sale" will run at the basement first-floor event hall until June 30, with brands such as Lacoste, Beanpole, and Hazzys offering apparel at discounts of up to 50%.
