This project is part of the 'Electrical Safety Total Service,' which was launched under the 'Business Agreement for the Prevention of Electrical Accidents among Vulnerable Groups' signed between the district office and the Electric Safety Corporation in March last year.
The main focus of this service is to visit the homes of vulnerable groups, such as seniors living alone, basic livelihood security recipients, and people with disabilities, to inspect electrical installations and provide free replacement and maintenance of outdated circuit breakers and outlets.
Separately, the district is also working to establish a 'Smart IoT Electrical Safety Network' to prevent fires caused by electrical usage. Remote monitoring devices that analyze electricity consumption and detect abnormal situations in real time, 24 hours a day, have been installed in 44 district-run senior community centers.
