ST Pharm Strengthens Stakeholder Communication with First Sustainability Management Report
ST Pharm announced on the 24th that it has officially published its first Sustainability Management Report, which details the company’s achievements in sustainable management, as well as its future strategies and plans.
This report was prepared to transparently disclose and communicate the impact of ST Pharm’s business operations on society and the environment to stakeholders.
Previously, since declaring its commitment to social responsibility management in May 2023, ST Pharm has been actively strengthening its sustainable management system. The first report provides a detailed account of the company’s vision, “An Innovative Company Saving Lives,” and its slogan, “Sustaining Tomorrow with Today’s Innovation,” under which five strategic directions and fifteen strategic tasks have been established.
Based on these five strategic tasks, the report includes a “Healthy Sustainability Areas” section to comprehensively present ST Pharm’s healthy and sustainable management system. The main contents are comprised of: Healthy Products (responsible product development and quality management), Healthy Workplace (enhanced safety and health and talent development), Healthy Communities (supply chain management and social contribution), Healthy Planet (climate change response and environmental management system), and Healthy Management (transparent governance and ethical management).
Additionally, the report discloses the company’s key sustainability activities and major achievements for 2024. In particular, it highlights the identification of potential impacts through climate change scenario analysis and the establishment of corresponding response strategies.
To systematically manage greenhouse gas emissions, ST Pharm has revamped its greenhouse gas inventory and subdivided the Scope 3 (other indirect emissions) calculation targets into a total of nine categories, thereby establishing a more sophisticated management system.
The ST Pharm Sustainability Management Report was prepared in accordance with major international reporting guidelines, including the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) Standards 2021 and SASB (Sustainability Accounting Standards Board), and has secured the accuracy and reliability of its information through third-party verification by an independent external professional organization.
