National Security Director Suh Wingrak to Attend NATO Summit on Behalf of President Lee Jaemyung
Suh Wingrak, Director of the National Security Office, will attend the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) summit in The Hague, Netherlands, on behalf of President Lee Jaemyung from June 24 to 25.
Kang Yujeong, spokesperson for the Presidential Office, announced this in a written briefing on June 23.

Previously, on June 22, the Presidential Office announced that President Lee would not attend the NATO summit. At that time, spokesperson Kang stated, "The President has been actively considering attending the upcoming NATO summit despite the numerous pending state affairs since his inauguration. However, after comprehensively considering various domestic issues and the uncertainty caused by the situation in the Middle East, it was determined that it is simply impossible for him to attend in person."
