Hope Bridge Implements 'Knowledge Bank' System to Advance Disaster Response
Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pilho) announced on the 23rd that it has implemented and is currently operating a knowledge management system called 'Knowledge Bank' to enhance expertise across all aspects of disaster response.
Introduced in February, 'Knowledge Bank' is a digital knowledge platform built on the association's groupware. It provides a wide range of content, including domestic and international disaster-related materials, business strategies, leadership, and job competencies, all categorized by topic. All employees can search and learn in real time, and the system is designed for immediate application to actual work tasks.
Through this system, the association is promoting a culture of continuous learning, strengthening job expertise, and improving work productivity. The Planning and Research Team and the Talent Development Unit are at the core of establishing the operational framework. Through a collaborative system involving all departments, the association is also systematically accumulating knowledge assets in each field.
Shin Hoon, Secretary General of Hope Bridge, stated, "Hope Bridge is evolving into an integrated disaster relief fundraising organization that goes beyond providing relief supplies to encompass disaster prevention and recovery." He added, "Knowledge management will be a key driver in raising the quality of disaster safety welfare that the public can truly experience."
