This year's contest was held on the 19th at the Hwasun Haneum Culture and Sports Center. A total of 22 teams participated, including 9 elementary school teams and 13 kindergarten teams, expressing the importance of fire safety through children's songs and choreography.
The Suncheonnam Elementary School chorus received praise for delivering an emotional safety message from a child's perspective through the song 'Please Believe in Me Completely.'
Chung Jiyeong, the chorus instructor, said, "The process of the children understanding the meaning of the song on their own and expressing their feelings through singing was a journey of growth. The children learned much more from the process than from the outcome itself."
Choi Kijeong, chief of the Suncheon Fire Station, stated, "The process of students participating directly, reflecting on safety, and preparing for the stage is truly valuable. This experience will help children remember the importance of fire safety for a long time."
