Acuon Savings Bank Appoints Retail Finance Expert Kim Heesang as New CEO

On June 20, Acuon Savings Bank announced that it had held a board meeting and appointed Kim Heesang, former Head of Retail Finance at Acuon Capital, as its new CEO.
Kim has accumulated extensive on-site experience and outstanding strategic execution capabilities over 34 years at major domestic financial institutions.
He joined LG Card in 1990, where he worked in sales planning and credit sales before serving as Head of Strategic Planning. He later held positions as Head of Retail Finance Sales and Head of Sales Support.
At Shinhan Card, he served as Head of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Head of Sales.
He then moved to BC Card, where he was Head of Strategic Planning and Head of Retail Finance Marketing. He oversaw marketing strategy, product development, and partnership sales, building expertise in big data management and sales management.
Since 2018, he has successfully led the personal credit loan and business mortgage loan businesses as Head of Retail Finance at Acuon Capital.
The Executive Candidate Recommendation Committee of Acuon Savings Bank stated, "The new CEO, Kim, is the right person to lead organizational growth and realize sustainable management at Acuon Savings Bank, based on 34 years of experience in the financial field and a customer-first management philosophy. We expect that, under his new leadership, Acuon Savings Bank will lay the foundation for future growth."
