Ansan City Invites Arts to Enrich Neighborhood Commercial Districts
Call for Proposals: Arts and Culture Promotion Fund Planning Project for Artists
Neighborhood Commercial Districts as the Main Stage... Up to 1 Million Won Support per Project
On June 25, the city of Ansan in Gyeonggi Province will begin accepting applications for the "2025 Arts and Culture Promotion Fund Planning Project," which aims to create a community-based cultural ecosystem centered around local neighborhood commercial districts. The application period will run until July 7.
This initiative is designed to foster a lifestyle-oriented cultural ecosystem in which artists, citizens, and merchants come together through pure arts and culture, including music, entertainment, and multidisciplinary arts, with neighborhood commercial districts serving as the main stage.
The total fund amounts to 20 million won, and each project may receive up to 1 million won in support. Any artist who has resided in Ansan for at least one year, as well as corporations or arts and culture organizations based in the city, are eligible to apply. The city will select recipients based on criteria such as artistic merit, feasibility, appropriateness of fund usage, and past achievements.
