BPA Conducts Mandatory Safety and Health Training for Supervisors of Tenant Companies in New Port Hinterland Complex
Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Song Sangkeun) has conducted mandatory safety training to strengthen the safety capabilities of supervisors from tenant companies in the port hinterland complex.
On June 19, Busan Port Authority announced that it held a group training session for supervisors from tenant companies at the second-floor safety training center of the Neulhaerang Rest Area in Busan New Port, in collaboration with the New Port Hinterland Complex Logistics Association.
Approximately 80 safety supervisors from tenant companies within the hinterland complex attended the training. The session was led by a professional instructor from the Korea Industrial Training Association, a safety and health education institution designated by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
The training covered topics such as the roles and legal responsibilities of supervisors, case studies of logistics warehouse accidents, and safety management for cargo handling operations, reflecting the specific characteristics of the port environment.
