Ulsan Ulju County Renovates Three Public Restrooms... Adds Comfort and Safety
Ulju County in Ulsan has undertaken 'small but meaningful changes' by renovating public restrooms at three popular local attractions frequently visited by residents and tourists.
On June 19, Ulju County announced that it had completed the replacement of public restrooms at Tory Park in Onyang-eup, Pyeongdong Village in Seosaeng-myeon, and the Cheolguso area in Baenaegol, Sangbuk-myeon, and has now begun full operation. These restrooms had long been the subject of requests for improvement due to aging facilities and limited space.
Through this project, the county completely demolished the old facilities and replaced them with new restrooms designed with user hygiene and safety in mind. The newly built restrooms are equipped with heating systems inside, ensuring comfortable use regardless of the season. In addition, an emergency bell system connected to the police has been installed to enhance crime prevention functions.
In particular, since these restrooms are located in major tourist destinations such as Baenaegol and Pyeongdong Village, their renovation is expected to directly improve the overall impression of the region.
