'BOCA Coffee Festa' to Be Held at Bojung-dong Cafe Street in Yongin on June 21-22
World Coffee Tasting Booths, Flea Market, and Performances
Payback Event with Onnuri Gift Certificates for Shoppers
Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced on June 18 that it will hold the "1st BOCA (Bojung-dong Cafe Street) Coffee Festa" for two days from June 21 to 22 at the cafe street in Bojung-dong, Giheung-gu.
This event, hosted and organized by the city and the BOCA Alley Store Association, is designed to revitalize the local commercial district by leveraging the unique characteristics of the cafe street, which features a concentration of distinctive cafes, restaurants, and general stores.
The event venue will be divided into several zones, including the "World Coffee Experience Zone" with various global coffee tasting booths and food booths, the "Retro Arcade Zone" featuring events such as cosplay and face painting, and the "Art Street Zone," a flea market where handmade crafts are exhibited and sold.
The city will also run a payback event in conjunction with the "2025 Gyeonggi Great Sale to Revitalize the Economy," organized by Gyeonggi Province. Visitors who verify receipts for purchases will be able to exchange them for Onnuri gift certificates. Bojung-dong Cafe Street was designated as an alley store district last year, making it a location where Onnuri gift certificates can be used.
