OpenAI's Sora to Visit South Korea Next Week for Exchange with Korean Creators
Scheduled Meeting with Domestic AI Video Creators
"We Will Exchange Ideas While Learning About Creators' Needs"
OpenAI, the U.S. company behind ChatGPT, will meet with domestic creators in South Korea who use artificial intelligence (AI) to produce video content.
According to industry sources on June 17, representatives from OpenAI's video generation tool "Sora" will visit South Korea next week. The visit will primarily involve the "Sora Artist Program" team, which is dedicated to expanding the possibilities of Sora by collaborating with AI-based creators. During their stay, the team plans to meet with local creators who produce videos using AI.
During their visit, the Sora team is expected to explore opportunities for collaboration by identifying creators' interests and gathering feedback. Notably, Seoul is the city with the highest number of Sora users worldwide, so this meeting is anticipated to help enhance user experience and improve the AI model's performance. An OpenAI representative stated, "We will exchange ideas on various topics while learning about the needs of Korean creators."
