Incheon Office of Education Investigates 274 Schools... "No Cases of Reebak School Operating Neulbom Program"
The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education announced on June 13 that, according to its investigation, the conservative-leaning organization "Reebak School," which has recently faced allegations of manipulating online comments, has not operated any Neulbom programs in Incheon.
The Office explained that, after conducting a comprehensive survey of all 274 elementary and special schools in the region, it found zero cases in which Neulbom programs were being operated in partnership with Reebak School, six other related organizations, or any organizations represented by the head of Reebak School.
However, it was found that two instructors hold private certificates issued by two organizations related to Reebak School. Nevertheless, these instructors possess multiple other certifications, and it was determined that their qualifications are not related to the field of history.
The Office conducted an emergency on-site inspection of these instructors and stated that the submitted operation plans, as well as teaching materials and learning aids, showed no connection to the Reebak School program.
Going forward, the Office plans to conduct a second joint inspection with the Ministry of Education and will take appropriate measures in accordance with procedures if any issues related to the Neulbom program are identified.
