Mungyeong City Successfully Hosts 39th Family Unity Festival for Successor Farmers
Over 700 Farmers Gather in One Place

Mungyeong City in Gyeongbuk has opened a venue for unity together with the future leaders of agriculture.

View original imageThe city announced that it successfully held the 39th Family Unity Festival for Successor Farmers at the Mungyeong Gymnasium on June 11.
The event was hosted by the Mungyeong City Association of Successor Farmers of Korea (President Yang Sijeong), and was attended by about 700 people, including members and families of the Korea Successor Farmers' Association and local farmers, who spent meaningful time exploring both the present and future of agriculture together.
The opening ceremony, which began with a pre-event performance, featured an awards ceremony for outstanding farmers and congratulatory speeches from key guests.
Mungyeong City Mayor Shin Hyeonguk, who attended the event, stated, "The dedication of our farmers has built today's agriculture in Mungyeong," adding, "We will usher in an era of one trillion won in agricultural income through a strategy of selection and concentration."
The main event included a group Yutnori game, talent shows, and various other programs that families could enjoy together, creating an atmosphere of laughter and unity.
President Yang Sijeong said, "The Family Unity Festival is a precious opportunity for farmers to interact and cooperate with one another," and added, "I hope this event will serve as a catalyst for revitalizing local agriculture."
